I've been using this same planner model for almost 10 yrs.

There is a 2 page spread per week giving you plenty of space to write details, directions, or other notes relating to appointments, and a 2 page spread with the whole month overview on one page (with enough space to write in daily to-do's or appts) and a note page on the other for your 'to-do's that aren't assigned to a particular day.

It has reference pages, conversions, and a perpetual calendar, as well as records pages for business expenses and travel.

I use this equally for personal and professional use.
