A can of compressed carbon dioxide might be more environmentally friendly than this product, which is compressed diflouroethylene. I believe diflouroethylene is an aggressive greenhouse gas that stores heat in the upper atmosphere and promotes global warming. Carbon dioxide is not as bad.
